The Hatred is not necessarily irrational or unusual. It is reasonable to hate people or organizations that threaten you or make you suffer, or whose survival is opposed to their own. People often hate what opposes their health and wellbeing. Hatred is often the prelude to violence. It is not easy to know when hate has a logical basis and when the hatred has become counterproductive self-perpetuating.
Well, that ... The mix of Christmas and family back home makes me think of these things ...
